Fall is upon us, and I have never been more excited for its arrival. After months of three digit temps and droughts galore, I am ready for rain, cold fronts, pumpkins, and all the autumn vibes. What better way to start getting in the Fall mood than to plan your Fall field trips and Pumpkin Patch promenades?

I have compiled a comprehensive list of all the awesome Pumpkin Patches in Dallas Fort Worth to help you make the most of your Fall fun this year. 1. Hall’s Pumpkin Farm
GRAPEVINE, TX – Hall’s Pumpkin Farm is located in the heart of Grapevine and offers a gorgeous and unique Pumpkin Patch experience. Friday through Sunday, adults are $15, and discounts exist for children under the age of 11, senior citizens, and veterans. Kids under 3 are free. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, the price drops to $5 for all admission levels. Hayrides are available for an additional fee. Don’t forget to check out their epic corn maze with corn stalks stretching over 2 acres and reaching nearly 9 feet in height.
Hall’s Pumpkin Farm will be open starting on October 4th and running through November 3rd this year! They are closed Monday & Tuesday, with the exception of Halloween. See their site for more info.
2. Aubrey Pumpkin Patch (formerly known as the Team Family Farms Pumpkin Patch Festival)
AUBREY, TX – Team Family Farms is a family owned farm that throws a Pumpkin Patch Festival jam packed with activities. Admission to the Pumpkin Patch Festival is $15 on weekends and $10 on weekdays, age 2 and under is free. Tickets are purchased at the gate. Enjoy a wide range of fun farm activities while your explore the pumpkin patch including: feeding the animals, barrel train, human hamster wheels, playground areas, giant pipe slide, little kid play area, hay maze, and more!
Team Family Farms Pumpkin Patch Festival is open from September 28th through November 3rd. They are closed on Mondays with the exception of Columbus Day.
3. Pitchfork Pumpkin Patch
ROYSE CITY, TX – The Pitchfork Pumpkin Patch is located about 25 minutes east of Dallas. Admission to the Pitchfork Pumpkin Patch is FREE, but many of their activities do have a fee associated with them. They offer a wide variety of pumpkins, gourds, hay, and dried corn, along with several fun Pumpkin Patch activities such as: pumpkin smashing, pumpkin carving, pumpkin painting, and, their Fun Zone. The Fun Zone includes bounce houses, inflatable slides, obstacle course and games. New to this year, they will also have new attractions including alpacas, petting zoo, and a pumpkin carving contest!
The Pitchfork Pumpkin Patch is open from September 27th thru October 31st.
4. 5G Farm
MCKINNEY, TX – The Pumpkin Patch at 5G Farm features a 2 acre corn maze, a smaller pallet maze, a petting zoo, and pumpkins as far as the eye can see. Enjoy lots of photo taking stations, games, face painting, BBQ, Food Truck Fridays, Bounce Houses and many more family fun activities. Admission is $5 for anyone over the age of 2. Free admission on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The 5G Farm Pumpkin Patch is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from September 20th to October 27th.
5. Elves Christmas Tree Farm & Pumpkin Patch
DENISON, TX – Located just 1 hour north of Dallas, the Elves Christmas Tree Farm & Pumpkin Patch offers a beautiful pumpkin patch alongside several other activities. Their admission varies from $10 – $15 / per person and includes a variety of activities including: farm zoo, maze, hay ride, human foosball court, and so much more. Dress the scarecrow, jump the hay, or check out their extra activities like bounce pad, duck races, pumpkin slingshot, and a corn canon, all available at an additional charge.
The Elves Christmas Tree Farm & Pumpkin Patch is open every weekend from October 5th to the last Sunday of the month. The Christmas Tree Farm will be open starting November 29th.
6. Country Critters Farms
ALVARADO, TX – Country Critters Farms offers a beautiful pumpkin patch with a variety of other family friendly farm activities. The admission fee at Country Critters Farms is $15 per person. They offer a petting zoo, pony rides, hay mountain, maze, duck races, playgrounds, hay rides, board games, and a kiddie train all alongside their pumpkin patch.
Country Critters Farms opens on October 5th and runs weekends through early November.
7. Blase Family Farm Pumpkin Patch
ROCKWALL, TX – Blase Family Farm offers a reservation-only Pumpkin Patch experience with a variety of family fun activities and pumpkin picking opportunities. Admission to Blase Family Farm is $10 per person, kids 23 months and younger are free. Monday – Friday, this admission fee includes access to their awesome petting zoo, hayride, and a small pumpkin. On Saturday & Sunday, you will swap that small pumpkin for a hotdog instead. Don’t forget to check out their hay maze and a beautiful wooded walking trail with Spookley the Square Pumpkin Storyboards.
The Pumpkin Patch at Blase Family Farm opens on September 28th and runs through October 31st.
8. Sunset Hill Tree Farm
ALVARADO, TX – Sunset Hill Tree Farm’s Pumpkin patch is full of fun for the whole family. Admission is $10 per person, ages 3 and under are free. Their Pumpkin Patch activities include: farm zoo, kids climbing wall, pumpkin paint, scarecrow hayride, playgrounds, photo ops, life size checkers, chicken races, kiddie train rides, obstacle courses, snow cones, bounce house, mining and more!
The Pumpkin Patch at Sunset Hill Tree Farm will be open every Saturday and Sunday throughout October. Check their website and social media for special openings on Monday.
9. Yesterland Farm Fall Festival
CANTON, TX – Yesterland Farm has a lot going on in the Fall, and I’m not just talking about Pumpkin Patches. Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate, and sales run from time to time. Be prepared to pay around $30 per person unless you happen to catch one of their sales. Enjoy a corn maze, wagon train rides, pig races, animal town, playground area, and vintage rides along with your pumpkin photo ops.
During the month of September you will also find pick-your-own sunflowers. Friday & Saturday nights in October are Spooktacular Nights, perfect for fireworks and frights. You can even trick or treat on the farm Halloween weekend.
The https://www.yesterlandfarm.com/ runs from September 14th to November 3rd. They are open Saturdays & Sundays in September and November, but you can enjoy their activities Friday through Sunday in October.
10. Mainstay Farm Park Fall Festival
CLEBURNE, TX – The Mainstay Farm Park Fall Festival has a lot in store for you this fall. Admission is anywhere from $17 – $30, depending on their sales, and can be purchased online or at the gate. The list of activities is long, some of which include: interactive playground, Texas big wheel, Texas tubin’ hill, sunflower garden, hayrides, gift Market, Mazes, farm animals, and more!
The Mainstay Farm Park Fall Festival runs from September 21st to November 3rd. They are open Saturdays & Sundays in September, but you can enjoy their activities Friday through Sunday in October & November.
11. Western Belle Farm Pumpkin Festival
WEST, TX – There are many activities to be enjoyed at the Western Belle Farm Pumpkin Festival, including a pumpkin cannon, wagon rides, photo ops, farm animals to feed and pet, mini zip lines, corn bin, train rides, and so much more. Admission is $16 per person, $12 on Farm Fridays. Ages 2 and under are admitted for free.
Western Belle Farm Pumpkin Festival is open from September 21st to November 3rd, every Saturday and Sunday with bonus Fridays in October.
12. Pumpkins on the Prairie
FRISCO, TX – Pumpkins on the Prairie has many activities to offer you and your family, including their pumpkin patch to peruse. Admission is free. Choose from hay rides, games, face painting, and pumpkin patch photo ops.
Pumpkins on the Prairie has not released their opening dates or updated their website, so stay tuned and let me know if you hear any updates!
13. Big Orange Pumpkin Farm
GUNTER, TX – The Big Orange Pumpkin Farm offers visitors a taste of the country life while they enjoy the beautiful Pumpkin Patch at Preston Trial Farm. Admission fees are $12 Monday through Friday and $15 on Saturday and Sunday. Children under 2 are free. Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome. Your weekday ticket includes: one small pumpkin from the patch, feed for the petting barn, hayrides, roping pen, and the hay maze. Weekend tickets do not include a small pumpkin, but they do include the farm train.
The Big Orange Pumpkin Farm is open from September 14th to November 27th.
14. Shadow Creek Pumpkin Farm
MIDLOTHIAN, TX – The Shadow Creek Pumpkin Farm offers you a full day of Fall family fun. Regular price admission is $17 per person with discounts available senior citizens, veterans, and first responders. Children 2 or under are FREE! Your admission grants you access to a day of unlimited corn mazes, hay rides, animal barnyard visits, hay hill sides, jump pad bounces, playgrounds, rides, yard games, squirrel cage races, pumpkin bowling, hay pyramid climbs, creekside fun, and more! Other activities available at additional cost includes axe throwing and cannon adventures.
Shadow Creek Pumpkin Farm runs from October 5th to October 27th on Saturdays and Sundays, with 3 special weekday events. Visit their website for more info!
15. Huddin Homestead Fun Farm Pumpkin Patch
ROCKWALL, TX – The Huddin Homestead Fun Farm Pumpkin Patch offers a variety of fun activities for the whole family. Enjoy a petting zoo, taco truck, shaved ice, hay bale slide, pedal tractor racing, corn pit, pumpkin jump pillow, and, of course, pumpkins! Admission is $10, free admission for 2 and under.
Huddin Homestead Fun Farm Pumpkin Patch runs from September 27th to November 9th, Tuesdays through Saturdays only.
16. Barton Farms Pumpkin Patch
VAN ALSTYNE, TX – The Barton Farms Pumpkin Patch is a newer pumpkin patch in Van Alstyne, about 45 minutes North of Dallas. Tickets are $10 per person, kids 2 and under enjoy their time at the farm for free. Your admission fee includes 1 hayride ticket and unlimited activities and games, some of which include: bounce houses, cornpit, cornhole, mini football field, pallet maze, pumpkin bowling, giant lawn games, nature paths, pedal cart races, and more!
Barton Farms Pumpkin Patch opens on October 5th and runs through November 2nd. Open Saturdays and Sundays only.
17. Jacksboro Pumpkin Patch
JACKSBORO, TX – Jacksboro’s Pumpkin Patch has much family fun to offer. Tickets are $15 online or $20 at the gate for everyone ages 3 to 74. Children under 2 and senior citizens 75 and older may enter for free, no ticket needed. After you enjoy a walk through the pumpkin patch, make sure to swing by and feed the ducks and goats. They will also have a bounce house, ax throwing station, fall-themed snacks, and more!
Jacksboro Pumpkin Patch is open from September 27th to October 27th, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only.
18. Mimi’s & Papa’s Adventure Patch
RICE, TX – Mimi’s & Papa’s Adventure Patch is a new pumpkin patch taking place at a veteran, family-owned farm in Rice, TX. Their farm offers a true pumpkin patch, multiple photo-ops, family games, and a jump pad. All day passes are $10 for adults and $5 for kids and can be purchased at the pumpkin patch.
Mimi’s & Papa’s Adventure Patch is open starting October 5th, Fridays through Sundays only.
19. Cobbins Family Pumpkin Patch
SANGER, TX – You will find pumpkins and plenty of fun at Cobbins Family Pumpkin Patch. Tickets are $10 for ages 13+ and $8 for ages 3 – 12 (includes a free mini pumpkin). Children 2 and under are admitted for free. Have fun exploring bounce houses, hay mazes, playgrounds, a toddler village, infant soft play area, lawn games, arts & crafts, and more! There is also a full concession stand and face painting available for an additional charge.
Cobbins Family Pumpkin Patch is open from September 28th until October 31st, Saturdays and Sundays with some special events. Check out their website for more info!
20. Lola’s Pumpkin Patch
MELISSA, TX – Lola’s Local Market presents Lola’s Pumpkin Patch! There is a $5 parking fee but no admission fee. Have fun with their hayrides, pumpkin painting, pallet maze, face painting, family games and more. Some activities do incur a small fee.
Lola’s Pumpkin Patch has not released their dates for 2024 yet. Stay tuned and let me know if you hear anything!
21. Fritz Park Pumpkin Patch
IRVING, TX – The Animal Connection at Fritz Park is opening for their first annual Pumpkin Patch! Admission is $5 for non-residents, $4 for Irving residents, and children 2 and under are free. A combo package is available for children for $10, which includes admission, feed cup, and pony ride and Magic Pumpkin Seed. In addition to their pumpkin patch, animal feeding, and pony rides, Fritz Park also offers a hay maze and other family friendly activities.
Fritz Park Pumpkin Patch is open from October 5th until November 3rd, Saturdays through Sundays only. Special events happening on Saturdays throughout the month.
22. Hilltop Pumpkin Patch
NORTHLAKE, TX – Opening for the first time in 2024, Hilltop Truck Park brings you the Hilltop Pumpkin Patch! Enjoy a plethora of pumpkins, bounce house, axe throwing, horse rides, photo ops, and more! Admission is $5 for all guests.
Hilltop Pumpkin Patch is open every weekend in October, including Friday evenings. Special events are scheduled, visit their website for hours and more information!
