9 Valentine’s Day Crafts & Decor to Fill Your February

It’s almost Valentine’s Day, but here in Texas it feels like Winter just finally rolled up last week. The weird weather is a bit disorienting, but I can always trust a good craft project to help ground me, and Valentine’s Day is no exception. I’ve pulled together 9 of my favorite Valentine’s Day crafts & decor ideas to help cheer up these drab days and spread a little love around.
1. Heart Corner Bookmarks
It’s been a hot minute since I’ve broken open a box of candy hearts and doled them out to my friends, but I think these bookmarks are such a sweet way to capture that nostalgia while showing someone special you care. Use the included template or make your own custom designs; I think you could really personalize these and make someone’s day.
2. Mini Valentine’s Day Wreaths
If you’ve got fabric scraps on hand, these adorable mini Valentine’s Day wreaths are a quick and fun way to spread a little love around the home, office, or classroom. Using what you’ve already got around the house and a few affordable craft supplies, you can brighten up your space without breaking the bank. Don’t have fabric? I see this working really well with wide, wireless, cloth ribbon as well!
3. Valentine’s Day DIY Gift Jar
This Valentine’s Day craft project is for all the Cricut and Silhouette fans out there. These gift jars are the perfect way to flex those crafting muscles and show off your skills. Gather up some jars, pick out some favorite candies, and show a little love to that special someone with a sweet tooth.
4. String Art Neon Heart Sign
What better way to say “you brighten my day” than with this neon string art? I think this project has a lot of wiggle room to accommodate different skill levels, but still offers many opportunities for personalization. In the end, you’ll have a gorgeous string art sign that can show your love not just for Valentine’s Day, but all year long.
5. DIY Crochet Heart Garland
I’ve always found t-shirt yarn to be a fun, playful way to reuse some of my favorite materials, and this garland is perfect for displaying your work and celebrating the ones you love.
6. No Sew Gnome Couple
Fill up your heart and home with this adorable Gnome Couple for Valentine’s Day. I love that this project is approachable for both folks who love to sew and those who don’t, crafters with Cricuts or Silhouettes and crafters who don’t have access to a cutting machine.
7. Easy Friendship Rocks
When I saw this craft project, I immediately thought of how sweet it would be to find one of these cute little rocks on our walks around the neighborhood. I think these friendship rocks would be the perfect act of kindness to celebrate Valentine’s Day, or any day, really! Never forget that a little kindness can entirely transform someone’s day.
8. Lavender Bag Hearts
Whether for a gift or simply enjoying around the house, these little heart sachets are full of love and lavender to help you enjoy each and every moment. These Lavender Bag Hearts are a great way to practice or show off your hand stitching and share all the warmth and peace a little aromatherapy can have to offer.
9. Red Heart Valentine’s Day Wreath
When I first saw this wreath, I thought “Whoa, that is beautiful, but I bet it’s a pretty involved project!” I was so excited to share this Valentine’s Day craft project when I realized that you could put it together in under an hour! What a gorgeous statement piece to make your door a little extra festive this February!

Can you feel the love?
Honestly, I used to feel a little grumpy about Valentine’s Day in the past. It felt like such a fake, money-grabbing kind of holiday purely motivated by dollar signs. But as time progresses, my perspective on the holiday has changed. Valentine’s Day can be whatever we want to make of it, really. For my family, it has become a fun little holiday full of crafting opportunities and creative ways to show our love and appreciation for each other. I am grateful for the way they brighten my every day, and I hope that you will spend the holiday feeling loved and cherished the same way.
