Mayfest is a true depiction of the dynamic Fort Worth community. People of all ages, backgrounds and interests delight in the festival’s incomparable atmosphere and evolving endeavors that engage every visitor. Mayfest celebrates this collaborative effort to bring enjoyment and amusement to the city’s exceptional park and river. Now more than ever, we look forward to bringing people together on the banks of the Trinity River.
A mini-maze, chalk house, giant sand pit, The Children’s Performing Arts Stage, and many other activities are located in the Children’s Area (closes each night at 7:30 p.m.) In The Zone enjoy amazing carnival rides, get in touch with the great outdoors in the Texas Parks and Wildlife area (on Saturday and Sunday only), and try your luck and play your favorite game at TEXAS LOTTERY COMMISSION. And don’t forget the power of animal magnetism! The petting zoo, pony rides, and The Humane Society of North Texas pet adoptions are also located in the action-packed Zone Area.
