During this free 2-night open studios event, we invite you to explore the largest and friendliest community of visual artists in North Texas!

Meet some Goldmark artists, tour their art studios, learn all about their latest art projects, and take home some original works of art for your collection!

With Goldmark artists working in just about every medium and art form imaginable, there is truly something for everyone — whether you are interested in purchasing unique and affordably priced works of original art from local artists, keeping up with the latest in the North Texas art scene, or simply enjoying an evening surrounded by great artwork, new exhibitions, and friendly artists!

Open studios, art activities, and art exhibitions will be spread across all floors of the Cultural Center’s two buildings, so there will be plenty to see and do for visitors of all interests and ages!

What makes this event different from a regular Art Walk?
Summer is often dismissed as the “off-season” for fine arts events, but the Goldmark artist community never really takes a break – we just slow down!

Our Midsummer Art Fair is a more relaxed opportunity for visitors to discover the Goldmark Cultural Center and connect with the Goldmark artist community. We’ve opted for an informal and scaled-down event, to make for a more intimate and relaxed experience for visitors and artists alike.

During our Spring and Holiday Art Walks, it can be a real challenge to explore the studios of all 180+ Goldmark artists in just 2 days. Visitors often feel rushed and pressured to see and do everything on offer before the event ends.

So for our Midsummer Art Fair, we are highlighting a smaller selection of Goldmark artists and their studios. Visitors can really take their time exploring the open studios, savoring all the artwork and conversations they encounter along the way.

There will still be plenty of friendly Goldmark artists to meet and studios to visit, but it should be possible to explore the Cultural Center at a leisurely pace and still have plenty of time leftover to just hang out with those artists with whom you resonate.

As a nighttime event that stretches over a Friday and Saturday, the Midsummer Art Fair is also a great opportunity for us to highlight and celebrate the nighttime artists of the Goldmark artist community, who make up a large proportion of our artists. You won’t often find the nighttime artists at our daytime events, but they will be out in full force for the Midsummer Art Fair!
