The City of Carrollton will host the annual Santa on the Square event from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, December 2 in Historic Downtown Carrollton (1106 S. Broadway).

Santa will be out late this year to help light up the Square and spread some holiday cheer, and he’s brought along toy soldiers and one of his prize reindeer.

So, grab your stockings and Santa hat for a fun and festive outing that will have the little ones laughing with glee. Enjoy the lights, get your face painted, ride on a trackless train around the Downtown Carrollton Square and have fun with Christmas crafts.

Come for the official tree lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. and then experience the awe of our the 160-drone light show presented by Sky Elements Drone Shows.

Don’t forget to visit all the family photo op areas. Snap a photo with a live reindeer, enjoy the 20-foot decorated tree, and have a friend photograph the family inside the giant inflatable snow globe. And as always, a photo station for Santa. Visit the Downtown merchants to complete that holiday gift shopping for friends and family.

Remember to send in your letters to the North Pole beginning Monday, November 6 through Monday, December 4. Santa placed a special mailbox in Downtown Carrollton to make sure he receives your requests.
