HOLI MELA – DALLAS FESTIVAL OF COLORS EXPANDS INTO FORT WORTH PANTHER ISLAND MARCH 16, 2024 for its inaugural debut. North Texas’ Largest Celebration of Holi Draws 10,000 for Annual Festival Holi, the Hindu festival of colors, is recognized world-wide as a major celebration of spring. In North Texas, Holi Mela – Dallas Festival of Colors is the largest celebration of its kind and draws thousands of revelers bridging age, race, religion and belief for the first time to Fort Worth’s Panther Island to celebrate inclusion and diversity. The festival will celebrate its 14th year in DFW and a 1st for Fort worth on Saturday, March 16 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The festival is preceded by a celebratory color yoga in the park which begins at 11:00 a.m. Tickets for the festival begin at $12 and can be purchased here. This festival has hosted more than 1,000 performance groups and artists, and this year promises to bring a wide array of dancers, drummers and local performers celebrating a diverse and beautiful population.

Event attracts 8,000 people and is the Largest Festival of Colors (Holi Mela) in North Texas.  An all day event featuring Live cultural dance performances, DJs, Indian Percussion specials(DHOL), multicultural street food market, full service bar, vendors, cultural jewelry and local handmade items and gifts are also available for purchase at the event.
